Roula Hannoun is the executive chef at Nara Lounge in Hurstville, Sydney. Born in Lebanon, Roula arrived in Australia in 1991 to begin her career as a chef gaining experience at restaurants such as the prestigious Rockpool on George, Sheraton on the Park, Sydney Convention Centre and Summer Salt. Since Nara Lounge opened its doors in 2014, Roula has been creating Middle Eastern dishes that delight the loyal customer base and keeps them coming back for more. Her goal is to never stop thinking outside the chef’s hat and to continue developing new and exciting recipes.
