Gerald Mirey is Head Chef at the Grade II-listed riverside restaurant, bar and terrace The Narrow, part of the Gordon Ramsay Group. Originally from Calvados, Normandy, Gerald Mirey’s menu brings a modern French European influence to the menu. He joined the Group with 10 years of experience in kitchens across the UK under his belt, and is a key addition to the riverside restaurant. Gerald has created a menu with a tip of his hat to French cuisine, including citrus marinated scallops with aubergine caviar and langoustine oil or stone bass with Jeruselum artichoke, samphire and mussel broth, all with panoramic views to match. Specials that change almost daily, created from fresh seasonal ingredients and sourced from local suppliers where possible, ensure an innovative menu throughout the year. Guests can also “Host their Roast” on Sundays in the River Room, where they can enjoy a whole sharing joint of beef pork or chicken with all the trimmings for groups of up to 18 people.
